Pranayama

Regular practice of Pranayama strengthens the lungs and prevents physical and mental ailments. Pranayama is the key to longevity. When pranayama is done while entertaining auspicious thoughts, it cures and prevents physical and mental ailments. While performing Pranayama, one should bring awareness down to the region of pain, weakness and disease.

While inhaling pure air through the nose, one should think-'the healthy air from nature is reaching the limb afflicted with disease.' Hold the breath for 30 to 60 seconds and whilst thinking about the limb afflicted with disease move it lightly. While exhaling, one should contemplate ' my disease is being expelled from the affected organ in the form of impure air; and i am becoming disease free. The regular practice of this helps a lot in recovery.

Prana is the primal source of all sorts of power; and hence, gaining perfection in Pranayama opens to us the door to unlimited power. The gigantic will powers of the world, the world -movers, who elevate human society through transmission of miraculous power, can bring their Prana into high state of vibration, and it is so great and powerful that it catches others in moment, and thousands are drawn towards them; and hundreds of millions of people receive instructions from them.

All great souls of the world have attained supernatural powers by controlling their Pranas in some way or the other. The influence of a person competent in any field is developed by the control of Pranas.
