Sleep - It's importance and properties

A sound sleep nourishes the body and increases it's healthfulness, strenght and vital fluids. It enables the sense organs to function properly and effectively. One habitually enjoying a sound sleep lives a full coarse of life.

Sleep should be taken at the right time and in right quantity. Oversleeping or taking sleep at inappropriate time or taking too little sleep erodes health and longevity.

Sleeping in day causes reduction in appetite. Food is not digested properly and raw, undigested food gets converted to toxins resulting in nausea, headache and skin disease etc.

Insomnia due to lack of sleep or disturbance in sleep causes pitta, semen loss, mental agitation.

Remedies to insomnia- Massaging oil into head, Massaging ghee into foot soles, regularly putting oil into ears, taking ghee and milk, curd and boiled rice, a comfortable bed and pleasing environment in room help in bringing the sleep back into eyes.



Good Sleep is must for more energy and more Enthusiastic

To rest well , required hours of sleep is very important for our health. If we are not having proper rest or sleep that will be reflected throughout the day in discomfort and there may be possibility of becoming ill.

Poor sleeping habit result in Insomnia.

So enjoy sleeping and have good rest at night to be more enthusiastic & energetic for next day!!!
